Dennis Muse
Chief Executive Officer

Dennis Muse has over 26 years of diversified executive management and business development experience in technology driven corporations including telecommunications and Ethernet and Internet networking.

Muse joined Global Compliance, Service Intelligence’s parent company, as Chief Executive Officer in May 2004. Immediately preceding Global Compliance, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Ethernet networking services provider, Yipes Enterprise Service. Prior to Yipes, Muse served as Chief Operating Officer for internet data center company iAsiaWorks and previously held the title of President and Chief Executive Officer of consumer broadband services provider ReFlex Communications. Before ReFlex Communications, he served as President of the Telecom Division for MCI WorldCom and President of Wholesale and Internet Sales and Support for MFS Telecom.

Muse began his career in telecommunications in Commercial and National Account Sales at Sprint.

Muse earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Southern Illinois University.


 

Bob McCarter
Senior Vice President, Information Technology


Bob McCarter possesses 16 years experience in database and information systems development. In his current role he is responsible for technology and system infrastructure development, day-to-day operations and service delivery and client support.

As a member of the Global Compliance executive team, McCarter assumed the role of Vice President of Information Technology for Service Intelligence after Global Compliance’s acquisition. McCarter also served with Global Compliance’s former parent company, Pinkerton, Inc., in the position of Chief Technology Officer within Pinkerton’s Consulting and Investigations division. Previously McCarter held the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Information Systems Architect for Pinkerton Services Group.

Prior to joining Pinkerton, McCarter performed system design and project management on large-scale fluid dynamics and environmental remediation projects at the University of California at Berkeley. Formerly, he had served as an Information Systems Consultant for Six R Communications and BellSouth and also held the title of Equipment Engineering Manager for BellSouth.

McCarter holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.


 

Nick Ciancio
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development


Nick Ciancio possesses more than 20 years experience in senior marketing and business development positions in the telecommunications and technology industries. Currently, he leads efforts to build the Service Intelligence brand, expand service offerings, develop marketing channels, and generate revenue.

As the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Global Compliance, Service Intelligence’s parent company, Cianco assumed the same position with Service Intelligence after the acquisition.

Prior to joining Global Compliance, Ciancio served as Vice President of Corporate Integration and Infrastructure Development at Ethernet networking services provider Yipes Enterprise Service. Before Yipes, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for Curiosity.com, and previously he held the title of Vice President of New Product and Business Development for US West Communications. Ciancio began his telecommunications career with Pacific Bell serving as Director of Marketing, and he was then promoted to Executive Director, New Product Development.

Before entering telecommunications, Ciancio served as a Mathematical Statistician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Ciancio holds a Master of Art in Statistics from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts.


 

Robert Smith
Senior Vice President, Finance


Robert Smith has a strong background in public accounting and has held key financial positions in both publicly and privately held companies. His current responsibilities include management of the finance, accounting, and human resources departments in addition to implementation of financial systems.

Prior to joining Global Compliance, Smith served as Corporate Controller for H Power Corp., a publicly held developer of fuel cell systems, and also for Solomon Software, Inc., a provider of business accounting software. He began his career in the audit department of Deloitte and Touche where he spent eight years in various positions and was promoted to Audit Manager.

Smith holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Smith is also a Certified Public Accountant.
 
 

Steve Reynolds
Vice President, Sales and Business Operations


Steve Reynolds is a veteran of the ethics and compliance industry, having been with Global Compliance, Service Intelligence’s parent company, and two of its predecessor companies during the past 20 years. He currently leads Sales and Business Development for of Service Intelligence.

At the emergence of Global Compliance in September 2003, Reynolds assumed the role of Vice President of Evaluation and Validation, having led this division within Pinkerton Compliance Services. Previously he served as Vice President of Sales for Pinkerton Services Group, where he pioneered the development of corporate ethics and compliance programs for several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Pinkerton, Reynolds had the role of Vice President of Sales for the Stanton Corporation, a psychological testing company. Before Stanton, he served as Vice President and General Manager for Bracknell Oil Company.

Reynolds received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Appalachian State.



Navi Vaid
Director of Client and Business Development

Navi Vaid joined Service Intelligence in 2000, excelling in project management and leadership that led to his promotion to Director of Operations. Vaid assumed his current role as Director of Client and Business Development in March, 2008. He oversees Business Operations and Program Delivery.

Prior to joining Service Intelligence, Vaid owned his own marketing consulting business. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.


 

Debbie Nordstrom
Director of Client Services

Debbie Nordstrom holds over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry including expertise in regulatory compliance, strategic planning, facilitation, report development, and training. Nordstrom as Director of Operations manages Client Service, Operations, and Market Research.

Prior to joining Service Intelligence in 2005, Nordstrom held the position of Director of Service Administration for Canada Safeway, a grocery chain, administering service compliance for 800 retail stores. Nordstrom, in her 21 years with Canada Safeway, also held the successive positions of Training and Development Manager, Division Service Manager, and Regional Service Manager.
