This probably wouldn't have happened with a direct care employee since they are thought of as at will employees. You get ~2 weeks paid off between the last day of the school year in June before the summer session starts which is nice but the last 2 weeks between the summer session ending and the fall year starting, is unpaid. The company expects you to be able to live off of roughly 200 dollars bi-weekly. The Institute Of Professional Practice was a good company in the beginning of my work there.
